Donegal
Presbyterian Church
Church School for all ages
Sundays, 10:20-11:10 a.m.
Time to gear up for the return
of Christian Ed here at DPC!
Our first day of classes will
be September 18, starting at 10:30 am.
“The One Room
Schoolhouse” is returning and will be once again grouping together
all of our kids from age 4 to 12 – this allows us to have a larger
number of kids in attendance on any given Sunday, which will in turn give
us greater freedom to have classes that rely on numbers to make the lesson
more fun, such as games, puppet shows, etc.
Classes will primarily be on the 2nd floor of the
education wing.
The
Senior High class will be meeting on the first floor (next door to the
choir room) and will be for kids ages 12 and up. They will be participating in sessions
that reflect current events.
Important
notes:
1.
We would like to start the morning down in Fellowship Hall after
First Service fellowship time and then will travel as a group to the
location that best fits the need of the style of the lesson for that
day. We will be concluded by start
of BDC.
2.
The upstairs classrooms are being designated a “NO FOOD
ZONE”. We respectfully request
that you finish your fellowship goodies BEFORE you travel to the
classroom. This will help to keep
our learning area clean - preventing crumbs that attract mice and bugs,
keeping spills at bay, and making sure that everyone has the same
opportunities for learning.
THE PARISH RESOURCE CENTER
The Parish Resource Center
is a unique resource for our congregation! Every day, from area
communities, pastors and laity arrive at the PRC with questions, challenges
and church work to do. The Center provides trained consultants to guide and
support, a hospitable and inspiring environment along with a comprehensive
library of resource materials.
Anyone from our congregation may go
there for help with a church commitment during their open hours: Mon.
& Tues., 9am-8pm; Wed., Thurs., & Fri. 9am-5pm; Sat. 9am to 12
noon.
SUMMER
HOURS: 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through
